Frequently asked questions

What do you need from me to start?

Product images, your website, brand guidelines and any relevant information about the intended use of the content. A detailed brief is helpful, but not required — a rough idea is enough to begin shaping the direction. All product references and materials needed for production should be provided by the client.

Can you work within our brand guidelines?

Yes. Existing brand guidelines, colour systems, typography, positioning and other brand-specific requirements can inform the visual direction. I do not recreate or generate variations of a brand’s previous photography or campaigns. Each project develops its own original visual concept.

How closely can you reproduce my actual product?

Product fidelity is reviewed throughout the process using the references you provide. I pay close attention to colour, proportions, materials, construction, logos and defining details. Some products are more suitable for AI-assisted production than others, and any likely limitations are discussed before production begins.

Will the final images look AI-generated?

The aim is for the work to feel visually convincing and appropriate for the brand. Skin, anatomy, lighting, materials, scale and physical interaction are reviewed carefully, and obvious AI artefacts are corrected or rejected. Some briefs call for a more realistic result, while others may be more stylised or concept-driven — for example placing a product in an impossible or theatrical setting. Both can be developed, as long as the final image feels intentional.

What happens if a product detail is inaccurate?

Accuracy is part of the review process. If an important detail does not match the supplied product reference, it is revised within the agreed scope rather than knowingly delivered as final work.

Do we own the finished images?

You receive commercial usage rights to the approved final deliverables once the project is paid in full. Muse Material Studio does not resell commissioned final images to another client. Completed work may be shown in the studio portfolio unless otherwise agreed in advance. Copyright treatment of AI-assisted content can vary by jurisdiction.

What is your approach to AI labelling and transparency?

AI-assisted work should be represented transparently and in accordance with the rules that apply to its use. Where relevant, I provide AI transparency or usage notes and can prepare content with the intended platform, market or disclosure requirements in mind.

Do you also offer video?

Yes. Short-form motion can be developed alongside still imagery or included within a wider campaign scope. The Creative Sprint includes one short video, while additional or more complex video work can be scoped separately.

What is included in a Creative Sprint?

The Creative Sprint includes one visual direction, five finished images, one short video, platform-ready crops, one revision round and a product-accuracy review. It is designed as a focused first project or for one specific content need.

Is every product suitable for AI-assisted production?

No. Suitability depends on the product’s construction, materials, reflective surfaces, typography and the degree of precision required. Many fashion, beauty, lifestyle and product categories can work very well. Highly intricate or technically demanding objects — such as fine jewellery, complex stone settings or products with very precise construction — may require a more specialised workflow, additional production time and a different budget, or may simply not be the right fit for this process. If that is the case, I’ll flag it before the project begins.
